Luis Suarez took a swipe at Uruguayâs critics on Instagram following his countryâs elimination from the 2022 World Cup, despite a 2-0 win over Ghana on Friday, December 2, in their final group stage match
Despite winning 2-0, Uruguay crashed out of the World Cup after South Korea defeated Portugal 2-1. The Asian nation took the second spot in the group, having scored more goals than the South American team.
Suarez who slammed those criticizing his country following their ext, wrote on Instagram;
 âSaying goodbye to a World Cup hurts a lot, but we have the peace of mind that we left everything for our country.
