Iyanya serenades newlyweds with surprise performance at Ikoyi Registry
Mavins act Iyanya on Thursday, April 13 surprised some newly married couples this morning at Ikoyi Registry, Lagos after he walked in singing and performing his newest hits.
9jaRocks gathered that Iyanya was there to promote his new EP, Signature, as well as his upcoming videos. The Mavin Records artist, accompanied with DJ Big N, performed his new hits “Bow for You” and “Baby Answer” as well as his evergreen classic, “Kukere.”
In the surprise performance, registry guests looked on curiously as DJ Big N of Mavin Records was first seen setting up a DJ booth for a mystery guest. A small crowd then gathered as Ehiz Okoeguale, the MTV Base VJ, mounted a small podium to announce that there would be a surprise performance which sparked further excitement.

The ripples in the crowd cascaded into full blown raptures when Ehiz announced Iyanya to the stage with a rendition of Kukere. Ecstatic couples immediately stopped whatever they were doing and ran towards the R & B star to join him on stage.
